Research Into Action Webinar: Working With Schools to Prevent Youth Substance Use

Wednesday, January 12, 2022Marci F. Hertz presented the latest installment of the Research Into Action series. Marci F. Hertz, Senior Health Scientist at the CDC’s National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD and TB Prevention, presented the findings of her recent article, “Adolescent Mental Health, COVID-19, and the Value of School-Community Partnerships” published in Injury Prevention in 2021. The presenter discussed the impact of COVID-19 on youth mental health and substance abuse, as well as how communities can leverage school-community partnerships to address these issues.
