Friday, September 29, 2017 – Dr. Jeff Temple of the University of Texas Medical Branch discussed his article entitled, “E-cigarette use of young adults’ motivations and associations with combustible cigarette alcohol, marijuana, and other illicit drugs”, which was published in 2017 in the American Journal on Addictions. Dr. Temple’s article presents his and his colleagues’ findings regarding the positive association between e-cigarette use and other substance use (including alcohol, combustible cigarettes, marijuana, cocaine, prescription drugs, and several other illicit drugs).
