Earlier this week, CADCA sent out a legislative alert about funding for the Drug-Free Communities program in the President’s FY 2016 Budget Request.
President Barack Obama recommended funding the DFC program at $85.7 million, a cut of $7.8 million from the previous year’s level of $93.5 million. Currently, there is a letter circulating on Capitol Hill in support of funding the DFC program at $93.5 million, and your support is needed.
Please click the following link to use CADCA’s CapWiz system to send a letter to your members of congress urging them to support funding the DFC program at $93.5 million.
The more letters members of congress receive, the more likely they are to support the higher funding level for the DFC.
