Free Webinar: Effects of Marijuana Use on the Brain

CADCA’s National Coalition Institute offers no-cost, bi-monthly webinars entitled “Conversations: Putting Research Into Action,” which feature live conversations with researchers from around the world on issues of interest to community coalitions.

The next webinar will be held Aug. 25 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. EST and will feature Dr. Ty Brumback from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Brumback will present his findings on the effects of marijuana use on brain structure and function.

His work includes neuroimaging findings from a neurodevelopmental perspective. Robert Busch of CADCA’s Evaluation and Research team will ask questions about the implications of his findings for coalition work and will provide an opportunity for webinar participants to ask questions as well.

The deadline to register is Aug. 23. So register today for this informative webinar. Information for how to join the webinar will be emailed to registered attendees.

Full recordings of each webinar will be made available on cadca.org following each event. If you have any questions, contact Robert Busch at rbusch@cadca.org.
