A proud Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), she is an active member of ASAE and PCMA and was named PCMA’s 2013 Emerging Leader of the Year. She is also a DELP Scholar, committed to advancing diversity and leadership within the association industry.
Ushma holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s in Tourism and Hospitality Management from The George Washington University.
When she’s not curating high-impact meetings, she’s cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers or spending time with her greatest joy: her daughter, Kathani. Based in Arlington, VA, she brings passion, precision, and just the right amount of Black and Gold to everything she does.
