Are you interested in applying for a Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program grant? Then you’ll want to take advantage of free DFC grant applicant workshops taking place in January and February 2015.
The DFC is a federal grant program that provides funding to community-based coalitions that organize to prevent youth substance abuse. The 2015 DFC Request for Applications (RFA) will be released in January 2015. Currently there are 680 Drug-Free Communities grantees across the country and yours could be next!
Community coalitions interested in applying for the DFC Program are encouraged to attend one of the following workshops:
- Tuesday, January 27, 2015: Albuquerque, NM, Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown, 2600 Louisiana Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110
- Thursday, January 29, 2015: Atlanta, GA, Atlanta Airport Marriott, 4711 Best Road , Atlanta, GA 30337
- Friday, February 6, 2015 (after CADCA’s 25th National Leadership Forum): Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center, 201 Waterfront St., National Harbor, MD
These workshops are not mandatory in order to apply for this grant. These workshops will provide technical assistance to help applicants complete their applications.
