Mid-Year Training Institute Website Has Launched!

2020 is proving to be a successful year for CADCA training events! Now that Forum 2020 has concluded, we are excited to announce that the Mid-Year Training Institute 2020 (Mid-Year) is in full swing. This year's training will take place at the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center in Nashville, TN from July 26-30.
 
 
 
 
Keynote Speaker Announced

McCance-Katz, M.D., Ph.D., Assistant Secretary of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), will participate as this year's Mid-Year Keynote Speaker. Her powerful and informative presentations always leaves a mark on those in the prevention field. Mark your calendars today, as this is something you don't want to miss! Dr. McCance-Katz is the first Assistant Secretary for Mental Health and Substance Use. She obtained her Ph.D. from Yale University with a specialty in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is board certified in General Psychiatry and in Addiction Psychiatry. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry with more than 25 years as a clinician, teacher and clinical researcher. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Now Accepting MYTI 2020 Call for Presentations
 
CFPIconCropped_995777.JPGWe want you to share new developments, successes and best practices that your organization or coalition has discovered! Submit your Mid-Year training presentation, which follows this year's theme of Prevention. Progress. Possibilities. for an opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with Mid-Year attendees. All applications received will be considered for the 75-minute training slots on Monday, July 27. 
 
Submissions are due Friday, April 3, at 5 pm EDT.
 
 
 
 
 
Scholarships Now Being Accepted
