This year, CADCA welcomes Jim Carroll, Deputy Director, Office of National Drug Control Policy, as a keynote speaker. Carroll will speak about ONDCP initiatives, key objectives and the state of the field. Carroll and ONDCP staff will also be participating in an ONDCP Town Hall on Monday.
In addition, participants will hear from a number of renowned experts in the field of drug use prevention, treatment and research such as:

- Frances Harding, Director, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Substance Abuse Prevention;
- Sue Thau, Public Policy Consultant, CADCA;
- And many others, including CADCA’s top-notch staff trainers and researchers.
The Mid-Year also welcomes over 400 youth from around the country who will take part in CADCA’s youth-led, adult-guided civic engagement training, where they’ll learn how to become drug prevention advocates and powerful community leaders.
