Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals President and CEO Mark Trudeau, Former MLB Player Jamie Moyer and Spouse Karen, To Be Honored at CADCA’s Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner on Oct. 7th

WHAT:  Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) celebrates its 17th annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner. The event will bring together business, Federal, congressional and community leaders from across the country who support CADCA’s effective prevention mission. Mark Trudeau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, will receive the Humanitarian of the Year Award for his support of CADCA and the company’s commitment to a comprehensive response to our nation’s opioid crisis. Former Major League Baseball player Jamie Moyer joins his spouse Karen as CADCA Champions for Drug-Free Kids for their Moyer Foundation work to support children impacted by addiction. The Honorable William Lacy Clay, Jr. (D-Mo.), will provide remarks. CADCA Chairman and CEO Gen. Arthur T. Dean will share insights on the CADCA mission. Youth leaders trained by CADCA’s National Youth Leadership Initiative, Lauren Foisy and DeJohn Taylor, will speak about youth empowerment. The Honorable Mary Bono, Chair of the 2015 Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner and Senior Vice President of FaegreBD Consulting will open and close the event. Leon Harris, ABC7/WJLA anchor, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
