Welcome! Thank you for presenting at the 2022 National Leadership Forum! Here you will be able to find information regarding what is needed from you leading up to Forum, as well as tips for making your training session a success!
As we all transition back to planning, presenting at and participating at in-person events, CADCA hopes that you’re excited to provide groundbreaking content to the Prevention Sector once again.
November 18, 2021 – Presenters receive date and time of training session
December 13, 2021 – Deadline to complete registration forms
January 7, 2022 – Deadline to submit PowerPoint presentations and supplemental handouts
January 24, 2022 – Date handouts/presentations will be available on CADCA’s website and app
January 31 – February 3, 2022 – National Leadership Forum takes place
Please note, CADCA does not print handouts or worksheets for training sessions. Presenters may bring copies of handouts if they choose to have them available in their session rooms. Note, there is a FedEx inside the Gaylord National Harbor for your convenience.
Any materials such as handouts or worksheets can be added to the Training Session Grid on the Forum website and Forum app. Many attendees enjoy printing them before arriving to the event or saving to their mobile devices. CADCA does not reproduce handouts, worksheets or PowerPoints for attendee use.
UPLOAD YOUR HANDOUTS
Upload handouts and additional supplemental worksheets into Dropbox by COB, Friday January 7, 2022. Please be sure to save your items with the DAY of your training session first, followed by (at minimum) the first FOUR words of your session title and then the word HANDOUT. If you have more than one handout, please add the number after the word HANDOUT.
Example: If my Wednesday session is “Prevention Basics: A Crash Course” I should save my handout(s) as WEDNESDAY_Prevention_Basics_A_Crash_HANDOUT_1.
At the National Leadership Forum, the stellar A/V partners at Inspire will have your slides pre-loaded on the laptop that is in your training session room as long as they are received by the deadline.
Any PowerPoint slides that are provided to us (with your permission) are reviewed and turned into password protected PDFs. They will be available on the event app and on Forum’s Training Session Grid.

UPLOAD YOUR POWER POINTS
Upload PowerPoint presentation into Dropbox by COB, Friday January 7, 2022. At the Gaylord Hotel and Convention Center, there will be a Speaker Ready Room staffed by CADCA’s AV partners at Inspire to help presenters with last minute prep and technical questions. This is also the location to visit should you have any updates to your PowerPoint. From this room, Inspire techs can ensure your updated slides will be waiting for your in your assigned session room.

Hours (all times are Eastern Standard Time):

On the day and time of your session, all presenters should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before their session begins. A Session Room Monitor will be assigned to each training session and will have very brief housekeeping items to share with the attendees before the start of your session. If you experience any technical issues or are in need of assistance, they will be able to connect with a staff person or technician quickly.

For sessions with more than one presenter, it is important the order in which presenters are confirmed.
For each training session, the Lead Presenter receives a complimentary registration.

Presenter 2 receives a discounted registration rate of $450.
Sessions with Three or More Presenters
Presenters 3 or more must register at their applicable registration rate. Please note there are single day rates available for Forum, as well.
