How to Recruit and Manage Prevention Volunteers is a virtual workshop that is focused on one of the major challenges for anyone working in the prevention field. From direct services to coalitions, how to recruit, retain and manage volunteers for sustainability and growth will be the primary purpose of this workshop. This workshop will cover the following objectives:

•  How to find volunteers that are excited about your “why”.
• What does it mean to “empower” your volunteers?
• What is effective communication in sharing information, updates and feedback.
• The importance of volunteer recognition that rewards hard work.

This workshop will include sharing the Drug Free Cecil prevention story.
