Building Healthier, Safer, and Stronger Communities Together
Originally known as Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America, CADCA has evolved into an innovative leader in the prevention field, empowering more than 7,000 coalitions in the U.S. and over 28 countries to build healthier, safer, and stronger communities. We unite diverse sectors including schools, law enforcement, youth, parents, healthcare, media, and tribal communities to champion prevention strategies that address substance misuse and the broader factors shaping community health. Guided by our three pillars — Training, Advocacy, and Support — CADCA offers a wide range of services, including signature events like the National Leadership Forum and Mid-Year Training Institute, the flagship National Coalition Academy, and customized training to equip coalition leaders with the knowledge and skills to drive real change.
CADCA’s innovation and impact is felt in every community we serve from mentoring youth leaders who inspire their peers to champion prevention, to helping coalitions secure sustainable funding and implement effective strategies. Together, we are empowering communities of all needs, growing the field of prevention, and changing the world, one coalition at a time.
