Coalitions have the power to influence more than individual behavior; they can also help shape healthier communities through policy. In this Competencies in Focus webinar, we’ll break down the Policy competency and explore how coalitions can engage decision-makers and community leaders to support prevention programs. Attendees will learn the knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with the competency to implement it in their work. Public policy consultant, Sue Thau, will share best practices for effective policy work, based on decades of experience. Rick Collins, Drug Free Coalition Director, will also share an example from the field and provide coalitions with actionable steps they can take to integrate this competency into their work.
Get involved. Let's improve prevention for
everyone globally– and build lasting impact.
