CADCA’s partners at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration invite coalitions who work heavily with the law enforcement sector to a webinar next week. The National Association of Prosecutor Coordinators will present a free webinar on how to support Standardized Field Sobriety Test testimony from 3-4:30 p.m. EST Tuesday, Sept. 8th called “Turning the Sword into a Shield: Using the NHTSA Manual to Cross Examine a Defense Expert.”
This is the final installment of the “Traffic Tuesdays” series for the fiscal year. NHTSA plans to continue the series with twelve new topics starting in October.
The webinar will show participants how to use their manual as a “shield” to “defend” impaired driving cases. The webinar will be presented by Tim Wilson, the Chief Deputy of the Jasper County, Mo. Sheriff’s Office. There is no charge to attend this webinar, but space is limited.
