Make a Monumental Impact at CADCA’s Mid-Year Training Institute

Are you ready to make more “Monumental Impact” with CADCA? Registration is open now for CADCA’s 15th annual Mid-Year Training Institute, July 17-21 in Las Vegas.

Held at the Mirage Hotel & Resort, CADCA’s Mid-Year Training Institute offers half-day to two-day, in-depth, interactive training sessions geared specifically for community coalition leaders and staff.

The Mid-Year also includes two levels of training for the National Youth Leadership Initiative activities (Key Essentials and Advanced). From fundamentals of coalition building and strategic planning to evaluation and research, you will come away motivated and inspired to tackle your toughest community challenges.

Join the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA’s) Acting Administrator, Kana Enomoto, who will play the role of Mayor for the youths’ mock town council meeting. A highlight of the Mid-Year, the meeting gives students a chance to discuss real issues that are affecting their home towns and implement strategies for community change when they return.

CADCA has a limited number of scholarships available for adults and youth which cover lodging for four nights and the applicable registration fee. All applications must be submitted online and are due no later than Noon FRIDAY, April 15, and must be fully completed in order to be considered.
