CADCA has been raising awareness of the dangers of prescription drug abuse and over-the-counter cough medicine abuse during National Medicine Abuse Awareness Month (NMAAM) all October long. The month has been in full-swing with myriad activities. One way you can participate in NMAAM is by participating in CADCA’s Twitter Chat next week. That’s right, CADCA is hosting a virtual discussion with Office of National Drug Control Policy’s Deputy Director of State, Local, and Tribal Affairs Mary Lou Leary.
The chat is a unique opportunity to ask the Deputy Director questions, gain insights into ONDCP’s Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention plan, and learn about the different ways to support the initiative. Already have a question in mind? Great! Tweet your question to @CADCA today using the hashtag #RXAbuseAware and we may use it to kick off the conversation.
