Colleen Phalen serves as the Vice President Communications and Meetings at CADCA. Colleen is mission-driven executive with significant demonstrated experience in program development, content creation, experiential design, strategic project management, marketing, branding and staff development and morale. Specializing in leading organizations through transformational change. With over 25 years of experience, Colleen began her career at International Association of Chiefs of Police and has worked at Consumer Electronics Association, Destinations International and the American Association for Justice. Designations include: Certified Association Executive (CAE), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and Certified Exposition Manager (CEM).
Colleen hails from Northern Virginia but calls DC home. She and her husband love to travel, explore and spend time with family, especially their mini-golden doodle Shilo. An 19th century English Lit major, she also loves reading and is always up for the latest and best recommendations.
