Bob Jansen

Bob Jansen has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, including 20 years in various leadership roles for pharmaceutical companies. Prior to his current role as Founder and CEO of Zensights, Bob served as President and General Manager of the Pharma Solutions business unit of global healthcare informatics provider Wolters Kluwer. In 2014, after having identified a reoccuring need within the industry for targeted vendor engagement, Bob founded Zensights. Bob also serves on the Board of Verde Technologies and is passionate about their vision for helping to curb the drug crisis in America.

As the son of an Air Force pilot, Bob grew up with a strong respect for military service members and their families. Seeing the parallels between the qualities needed in strong, brave and caring military leaders and those needed in the leaders at the helm of our countries’ healthcare organizations, Bob along with his good friend and mentor, LTG (ret) Rick Lynch, developed the Adapt or Die and Zensight’s Leadership Summit meetings. These meetings, held biannually for the past decade, focus on developing adaptable leaders with strong moral compasses via collaborations and discussions between military and pharma leaders. They have hosted and connected over 1,200 leaders.

Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the University of Portland. Bob and his wife, Kasie, have three children and reside in Scottsdale, Arizona, where they enjoy long walks, getting beat by their kids in tennis, deciphering the mysterious inner workings of their cat, Noir, and spending time outdoors.
