Does your coalition have everyone you need at the table for successful collaboration? The answer is likely no. Community coalitions need to keep capacity building at the forefront in order to maximize collaboration and amplify the impact of the prevention work. This webinar will discuss the ABC’s of capacity building, including recruitment and retainment of members, successful collaboration with partners, and structure of coalitions that aids in effective functioning. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss challenges and successes faced within coalition capacity building and community collaboration, with the goal of empowered knowledge to help their coalition.

- Understand how to recruit, engage, and retain coalition membership, including the 12 sectors and beyond.
- Identify ways to utilize coalition membership to build successful collaboration with organizations throughout the community for overall success of prevention efforts.
