April 3, 2024 - April 3, 2024
Two Time Slots. 11AM-12:30PM EST | 3-4:30PM EST

The unique power of any coalition is their ability to bring about lasting community level change. In order to do so it must include the voices and perspectives of everyone who may be impacted by issues that the coalitions address. As coalitions you must ensure that minority and underrepresented communities are at the table in order to ensure that the work of your coalition is inclusive and respects everyone’s place in your community.

Learning objectives:

  1. Participants will understand the importance of engaging minority populations in order to facilitate community level change.
  2. Participants will learn strategies for engaging underrepresented and hard to reach populations in their communities.
  3. Participants will understand the importance of including minority voices and perspectives in the planning, decision making and work of the coalition.
