CADCA’s Geographic Health Equity Alliance (GHEA) is partnering with Nuestras Voces Adelante Network and SelfMade Health Network, to host a 4-part webinar series titled “Upstream Approaches in Cancer Prevention” which highlights policy, systems and environmental change strategies that address upstream social determinants of health that contribute to increased cancer burden. This series will focus on HPV vaccination, broadband access, food and nutritional security, and the built environment.

Join GHEA, Nuestras Voces Adelante Network, SelfMade Health Network, and the University of Iowa’s Advancing Cancer and Rural Equity (ACRE) Lab for the first webinar in this series, “Advocating for Policy Change to Support HPV Vaccination” on Thursday, February 22nd, 2024 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM EST. The webinar speaker will be Whitney Zahnd who will walk through steps to articulate the need for HPV vaccination-related policies at various levels within states, and will also describe data sources, policy levers, and partnerships which are necessary to advocate for meaningful change.
