Meaningful participation and sustained involvement in creating healthy communities is the cornerstone of civic engagement. As key stakeholders, youth are key informants, problem solvers and experts as it relates to building support and increasing community resiliency. This workshop will offer attendees information about the importance of engaging youth and adults as a critical resource to advancing initiatives, projects, and programs. Collaborative efforts can lead to the creation of youth leaders and advocates.
