Register Now for CADCA’s New Research Into Action Webinar Series and Connect with Experts from Down Under

CADCA’s National Coalition Institute is pleased to announce the beginning of a new no-cost, bi-monthly webinar series entitled “Conversations: Putting Research Into Action.”

For years, we have provided Investigación en acción articles in which we bridged the gap between scholarly publications and practical application for substance abuse prevention coalitions. Beginning this month, our Investigación en acción series will take on a new format, giving coalitions around the country the opportunity to listen in and participate as CADCA’s Evaluation and Research team hosts live conversations with scholars from around the world.

We invite you to join us for our inaugural webinar on Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 5:30– 6:30 p.m. EST with Australian professor Dr. Sandra C. Jones.

Dr. Jones and her colleagues recently published an article “‘I think other parents might… Using a projective technique to explore parental supply of alcohol.”

Come join us in a real time conversation hosted by Andrea de la Flor and Robert Busch of CADCA’s Evaluation and Research team to hear about the key findings and implications of this new research on underage drinking.

“We are absolutely thrilled to engage in this new process that will bring researchers and coalitions closer together and bridge not only research to practice, but also a connection between the two worlds. Launching our first webinar in collaboration with Dr. Jones and her colleagues in Australia is very exciting,” de la Flor said.

Participants can register now.

The deadline for registering is Dec. 14. Information for how to join the webinar will be emailed to registered participants on Dec. 15.

Can’t make the webinar? Don’t worry: Full recordings of each webinar will be made available on www.cadca.org following each event. If you have any questions regarding this webinar or other Investigación en acción questions, please contact de la Flor at adelaflor@cadca.org or Busch at rbusch@cadca.org.
