| Demonstrate your impact by participating in the 2017 Annual Survey of Coalitions! The 2017 CADCA Annual Survey of Coalitions is open through the end-of-June. The Annual Survey is the leading source of information on community-level work in the field of substance misuse prevention. For over a decade, the survey has been providing insights into coalition processes, strategies, and activities aimed at reducing substance misuse and improving population health. It continues to bring national attention to your work and CADCA welcomes all coalitions fighting alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use in their communities to participate – you do not have to be a CADCA member to demonstrate your impact! The Annual Survey data has been essential in advocacy efforts for coalition funding in Congress as well as informing training and technical assistance needs, highlighting successful coalition strategies to national partners, and developing an evidence-base for community-level prevention research. It also allows us to do quick capacity assessments to choose coalitions for participation in select projects. The preferred person to fill out the survey is a coalition member who is most familiar with the day-to-day coalition work. This includes the coalition operations manager, director, executive director, or CEO. If your coalition has participated in the past, we thank you for your commitment and we would like to count on your continued participation. As a new coalition, please take this opportunity share your work through the Annual Survey of Coalitions. Coalition members who submit completed surveys by June will have a chance to win a 2017 Mid-Year Training Registration and other prizes.
