Jim Besten has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including over 14 years in leadership roles spanning healthcare delivery, analytics, and strategic market growth. Prior to his current role as Group Vice President of Market Development at Fresenius Kidney Care, Jim held multiple leadership positions at Wolters Kluwer Healthcare Analytics and Meda Pharmaceuticals.

A committed mentor and lifelong learner, Jim has completed executive development programs at Columbia Business School and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He also actively supports emerging business leaders as a mentor at the Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Education in Sports Management, both from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Jim and his wife, Jen, have three children and reside in Hockessin, Delaware, where they enjoy travel, outdoor activities, and watching their children follow their passions.
