Greg Puckett is on the “front line” of local government as County Commissioner of Mercy County, WV. Among other responsibilities in this position, Greg appoints members to various local boards, authorities and public service districts; supports community services; and lobbies for more state funding of local programs.

Líder do setor pai La Tasha Murray will be interviewed in a 12-minute video discussing how to recruit and retain parent sector leaders in coalition work.
A Sra. Murray trabalhou como Diretora de Prevenção e Marketing do Abuso de Substâncias da Robeson Health Care Corporation em Lumberton, NC, nos últimos 15 anos. Ela passou mais de 20 anos trabalhando para resolver problemas de saúde que impactaram negativamente sua comunidade local. Através de sua posição profissional e devoção pessoal, ela atua em diversas coalizões e colaborações comunitárias. LaTasha tem uma grande paixão por trabalhar com jovens e tem feito isso em diversas funções, incluindo RHCC Youth LEAD, grupos afiliados de jovens da irmandade Zeta Phi Beta e sua organização religiosa. Ela participou do programa DEA 360 em Tampa, Flórida, onde sua filha, treinadora de jovens do CADCA, foi facilitadora convidada.

Tune-in to watch a 12-minute video from a seasoned youth sector leader, Vinayak Menon. Vinayak is the Youth Sector Leader for the Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council and a rising junior at Lambert High School in Georgia. He has been actively involved with the coalition for the past two years and represented his district at multiple CADCA national trainings. He is also a community contributor for the Atlanta-Journal Constitution and has advocated for substance prevention on behalf of youth. Outside of prevention work, Vinayak is an officer in his school’s speech and debate team and Future Business Leaders of America Club.
