Maryland Teens Call Out Tobacco’s Influence 

On June 14, teens from across the state of Maryland gathered for the Take Back Your 10 (TB10) Youth Summit, a day dedicated to celebrating the high school students’ efforts throughout the year and exploring how tobacco shows up in their everyday lives. TB10 is a youth-led, adult-guided program aimed at promoting youth voices through education and awareness of how the tobacco industry markets in their own neighborhoods.

Youth Leaders Convene for First Annual National Youth Action Council Retreat

Seventeen members of CADCA’s National Youth Action Council (NYAC) gathered at our headquarters in Alexandria, VA, for the first-ever NYAC retreat. Held April 11-13, youth leaders engaged in workshops on goal setting and action planning and collaborated in small groups to develop projects on key issues like fentanyl awareness and social media education.
