Establishing and sustaining youth engagement in community problem solving efforts is challenging for many coalitions. Adults skilled in effectively working with youth is critical to developing a strong, culturally diverse youth component. In this highly interactive workshop, participants will explore tools and strategies for facilitating youth problem solving and supporting youth development.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to: 

1. Discuss how to remain relevant and culturally competent to support youth engagement.
2. Utilize effective facilitation skills to increase critical thinking and problem solving for youth.
