Connecting with teens on-line is critical - and never more so than during COVID. We will discuss how to engage youth by using your community assessment to develop Instragram and social media strategies and messages to address local conditions and achieve your coalition's goals. Specific examples and tools developed through a partnership between an advertising agency and community coalition will be provided during the session.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1) Describe how quantitative and qualitative data can be used to identify specific objectives for engaging teens in addressing local conditions

2) Engage teens in developing targeted social media messages

3) Develop specific objectives for social media campaigns
