“They Are Using in the Woods”: Building Comprehensive Strategies for Your Local Conditions

Wednesday, July 17th
1:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Room:
Grapevine A
Description:

Youth are using and obtaining substances in many different areas of our communities and unless we address those locations we will not be able to reduce overall substance use problems in our communities. This session will take you through the process of prioritizing one local condition and brainstorming the strategies that you can use to effectively eliminate that condition. Whether you have been to a CADCA Academy or not, whether you have a logic model or not this session will give you the practical tools you need to start taking action in your community.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:

1. Identify a local condition from other community issues
2. Prioritize a local condition for action
3. Identify comprehensive strategies to address that condition
4. Take their coalition through a brainstorming process to create effective strategies to address any local conditions they encounter.

All presentations that have been made available to CADCA have been posted at this time.

Sessions without presentations were not made available to CADCA to share.

As a reminder, the password to access the presentations has emailed to participants and is also available on your Program Cover.
