Danielle Thomas, MTA, CMP

Danielle Thomas started with CADCA in June 2016 as the Registration and Meetings Associate. She is responsible for two major CADCA events and the coordination of CADCA Board of Directors and Coalition Advisory Committee meeting logistics. Prior to joining CADCA, Danielle worked most recently with other local associations, PathNorth and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, where she provided logistics and meeting planning support for their respective meetings and events.

Danielle obtained her BA in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Cincinnati (2012). To compliment her Bachelor’s Degree, she earned her Master’s Degree in Tourism Administration with a concentration in Event and Meeting Management Program at The George Washington University (2014). While obtaining her Master’s Degree she had the opportunity to experience two hands-on internships one with a non-profit organization for mental illness and one with the GW Law School Alumni Association - and a Graduate Assistantship at The Catholic University of America. She is an active member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

Danielle resides in Alexandria, VA. She enjoys networking with industry vendors staying current on trends. An avid DYIer, she enjoys crafting, cooking and exploring the DMV.
