Cyd M. Miranda Negrón

Associate, International Programs

Cyd is an International Programs Associate at CADCA and supports the Vice President and the Managers of the International Department in their mission of developing and administering training, technical assistance\ and resource development activities to communities in selected foreign countries. From Latin America to Africa, South Asia, Central Asia, Europe and the Middle East. You can find Cyd providing support and spearheading new ideas to increase the departments efficiency and effectiveness any day in the International Department.

Cyd was born and raised in Puerto Rico and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo with a degree in Television and Radio Communications and a major in Journalism. After graduating, she worked as a Project Coordinator for a DFC funded coalition in the Island were her administrative performance, leadership and accountability aided the organization in achieving goals like public policy change in record time. After this role, she spent two years teaching English in Madrid, Spain broadening her knowledge and gaining international awareness. As she moved back from Europe, Cyd decided to get back into coalition work and drug prevention, now leveraging her skills as a bilingual communications professional, her experience as a Project Coordinator and knowledge in drug prevention coalitions into helping achieve a drug free community with CADCA.
