Training Manager

Brittany Huffman, in her role as Training Manager, works closely with Melissa-Kim Tom to facilitate comprehensive training and assistance to coalition leaders and teams, with an emphasis on reaching economically disadvantaged areas.  Through her role, she works with CADCA trainers and other experts coalitions across the country to provide coalition leaders the tools to achieve success and determine the best ways for providing training, coalition development technical assistance and outreach.

Prior to joining CADCA, Brittany Huffman has spent the last 7 years working with Tobacco Free Allegheny, leading tobacco prevention and education programming in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh), PA.  While there, she was able to initiate the annual Allegheny Quits for Life Smoking Cessation Awareness Week, bringing together health-focused community organizations to bring awareness to the free tobacco cessation resources available to Allegheny County residents.  She also led the Planning Committee for the first annual PA LGBTQ Health Conference, which focused on the health disparities found in the LGBTQ populations in Pennsylvania, focusing especially on the tobacco use disparities. Brittany holds a BA from Seton Hill University (Greensburg, PA) in Theatre/Business and a MBA from Carlow University (Pittsburgh, PA), with a concentration in Project Management.

In her spare time, Brittany enjoys going back to her artistic roots and experiencing local theatre and travelling.  Favorite trips include a drive down Route 1 to Key West and eating all the croissants she could find in Paris.
