Utilizing social media and geofencing to target your community is a way to get your prevention message into the hands of those who can do the most with it. If their Facebook is open, you have access to deliver your message!

Learning Objectives

At the end of the training session, participants will be able to utilize social media as a tool to collect data for their community assessments. They will also be able to utilize geofencing to use real-time interactions with push notifications, SMS and MMS prevention messaging, and other helpful tools to reach targeted communities, and utilize social media for online surveys delivered to their targeted population.
