Then you\u2019ll want to take advantage of free DFC grant applicant workshops taking place in January and February 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The DFC is a federal grant program that provides funding to community-based coalitions that organize to prevent youth substance abuse. The 2015 DFC Request for Applications (RFA) will be released in January 2015. Currently there are 680 Drug-Free Communities grantees across the country and yours could be next!<\/p>\n<p>Community coalitions interested in applying for the DFC Program are encouraged to attend one of the following workshops:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tuesday, January 27, 2015: Albuquerque, NM, Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown<\/strong>, 2600 Louisiana Boulevard Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87110<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thursday, January 29, 2015: Atlanta, GA, Atlanta Airport Marriott<\/strong>, 4711 Best Road , Atlanta, GA 30337<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday, February 6, 2015 (after CADCA\u2019s 25th National Leadership Forum): Gaylord National Hotel &amp; Convention Center<\/strong>, 201 Waterfront St., National Harbor, MD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These workshops are <strong>not <\/strong>mandatory in order to apply for this grant.
