Almost 40 percent of college students binge drink each month \u2013 and they are at risk for consequences including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic problems<\/li>\n<li>Injuries<\/li>\n<li>Fights<\/li>\n<li>Sexual assaults<\/li>\n<li>Death<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What is CollegeAIM and why is it needed?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe College Alcohol Intervention Matrix is a new resource from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.niaaa.nih.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism<\/a>\u00a0(NIAAA) to help schools address harmful and underage student drinking.<\/p>\n<p>Developed with leading college alcohol researchers and staff, it is an\u00a0<strong>easy-to-use<\/strong>\u00a0\u0438 <strong>comprehensive<\/strong>\u00a0tool to identify effective alcohol interventions. While there are numerous options for addressing alcohol issues, they are not all equally effective.<\/p>\n<p>CollegeAIM can help schools choose interventions wisely\u2014helping them improve the health and safety of their students and surrounding community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How is CollegeAIM different?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CollegeAIM is distinctive because of the breadth of its research and
