Walmart developed a virtual reality naloxone training module to educate the public on who should carry it, where to access it, how to recognize the signs of an overdose, and how to properly administer the medication. Together, we\u2019ve been working to increase community readiness to respond to an opioid overdose.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:375}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In recognition of Naloxone Awareness Day on June 6, CADCA is proud to spotlight this ongoing partnership and the local coalitions that have made this work possible. Through a series of 35 naloxone awareness events held nationwide, we\u2019ve highlighted the important role that all community members play in addressing the overdose crisis and preventing overdose deaths. These events feature Walmart\u2019s VR training and a wide range of speakers, including legislators, first responders, concerned family members, and leaders in the field of prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:375}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">These naloxone awareness events have been hosted throughout the country to raise awareness, reduce stigma and demonstrate the important work coalitions are contributing to their communities. The majority of our past events are available for viewing on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLwNAwOGuyBICWrCDVjtgRsMYhkLY0l60L&amp;si=Jjk9xMn3SLX6Lp_x\"><span
