CADCA has been instrumental in shaping key federal initiatives, increasing resources, and strengthening the prevention field to ensure coalitions can thrive and make a meaningful impact.<br \/>\r\n<br \/>\r\nOur efforts led to the establishment of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/overdose-prevention\/php\/drug-free-communities\/index.html\">Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program<\/a> through the landmark Drug-Free Communities Act of 1997, a groundbreaking achievement that now funds thousands of community coalitions across the country to prevent youth substance use. Today, we continue to lead the charge on Capitol Hill and beyond, empowering coalitions with the resources, support, and training they need to build healthier, safer, and stronger communities across
