Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with federal block and discretionary grants; develop and maintain certification standards; and monitoring program compliance.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Beverly has received training in the following areas: Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Trained\/Trainer (SAPST), Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR).<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Beverly currently serves as the National Prevention Network (NPN) representative for the State of Alabama as well as the Vice President of External Affairs on the Executive Committee of the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD), representing the Network. In addition, Beverly serves as the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) State Facilitator.<\/p>\n<p>Beverly previously served as a community service provider with Drug-Free Communities before entering state government which she believes positions her to bring perspectives from both lenses.
