A Dra. Padon discutiu as descobertas dos artigos dela e de seus colegas sobre os efeitos da publicidade atraente para os jovens no uso de \u00e1lcool e cigarros eletr\u00f4nicos pelos jovens. Um artigo descobriu que as marcas de bebidas alco\u00f3licas que usam elementos mais atraentes para os jovens em suas propagandas est\u00e3o positivamente associadas ao consumo dessa marca pelos jovens e n\u00e3o associadas ao consumo adulto. O outro artigo concluiu que os jovens expostos \u00e0 publicidade de cigarros eletr\u00f3nicos com elevado ou baixo apelo juvenil eram mais suscet\u00edveis a experimentar cigarros eletr\u00f3nicos ou outros produtos do tabaco em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os jovens n\u00e3o expostos \u00e0 publicidade de cigarros eletr\u00f3nicos. A Dra.
