The consistent and steady growth of the program from $10 million in 1998 to $109 million in 2025 and the number of grantees (from 92 original grantees to more than 2,000 grantees) is a testament to the program\u2019s popularity. href=\"https:\/\/www.cadca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/DFC-National-Evaluation-Report_2024__FINAL_2025_JUN_508compliant_corr.pdf\">National Evaluation of the DFC Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h2 class=\"section-heading\">The Findings to Date \u2013 Rates of Substance Use are Dropping in DFC Communities<\/h2>\n<p>Prevalence of past 30-day use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cadca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/DFC-At-a-Glance-Updated-2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declined significantly<\/a> across all substances (alcohol,
