Come to this interactive workshop to hear from DEA Acting Administrator Uttam Dhillon about national current and emerging drug trends and their impact on your community. Mr. Dhillon will share the Administration’s priorities and goals to address our nation’s drug problems, including the Administration’s response to the prescription opioid and heroin problem that is affecting communities around the nation. In this interview-style session, Mr. Dhillon will share his views about the importance of law enforcement and prevention working together to respond to local drug and crime problems, and he will talk about the DEA’s community outreach and prevention support efforts to help communities respond to and increase awareness about the drug problem.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the training session, participants will be able to be knowledgable about current and emerging drug trends, understand the Administration’s response to the nation’s drug problems, and identify DEA resources to support your local prevention efforts.
