Come to this interactive workshop to hear from DEA’s Acting Administrator about current and emerging national drug trends and their impact on your community. The Acting Administrator will share his/her priorities and goals to address our nation’s drug problems, including the Administration’s response to the prescription opioid and heroin problem that is affecting communities around the nation. In this interview-style session, the Acting Administrator will share his/her views about the importance of law enforcement and prevention working together to respond to local drug and crime problems, and will talk about DEA’s community outreach and prevention support efforts to help communities respond to and increase awareness about drug issues.
