Partnerships are Key to Coalition Success

Monday, July 15th
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Room:
Texas 4-6
Description:

Strong partnerships are truly what drives coalition work and ultimately creates overall community change. By bringing partners to the table that are vital to the community and fully engaging them in the work of the coalition, community change will start to be seen much more quickly than when the correct partners aren’t at the table. Working together for the betterment of the community will create change that simply isn’t seen when people choose to continue to work in silos. Working across the sectors is what ultimately makes a coalition strong, effective and sustainable and this session will look at how one community strives to be inclusive of all partners.

At the end of the training session, the participants will be able to:

1. Understand the importance of not working in silos
2. Retain sectors through true coalition engagement
3. Have added knowledge of who needs to be at the table for specific initiatives, knowing who to pull into the work.

All presentations that have been made available to CADCA have been posted at this time.
