Announcing CADCA's 22nd Annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign LiveStream Virtual Awards Youth Speakers!
CADCA is committed to protecting the health and safety of our entire network of adult and youth substance use and misuse prevention advocates, including our corporate and federal partners. As a result, we have made the decision to transition our annual Drug-Free Kids Campaign Awards Dinner to a LiveStream Virtual Awards event.
Please join us Thursday, October 15, 2020 and share in the excitement of honoring our 2020 Humanitarian of the Year, Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI), 2020 Champion for Drug-Free Kids, Larry Cote, Esq., and amazing youth honorees. We look forward to the opportunity to share this event with you, and we thank you for your continued support of the Drug-Free Kids Campaign.
CADCA’s Youth Leadership Initiative (CYLI) empowers over 9,000 youth annually across the U.S. and abroad to address substance misuse and other problems in their communities. The goal is to inspire passionate youth, between the ages of 13-18, who are eager to impact their communities in a positive way. This is accomplished by giving young people the tools they need to create and lead social change movements.
This year’s Drug-Free Kids Campaign (DFKC) LiveStream Virtual Awards youth speakers are Andrea and Angela Ventura (United Way Broward County Youth Coalition in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) and Chase Taylor, (Montcalm Youth Wellness Committee in Montcalm County, Michigan). These young leaders are outstanding individuals committed to affecting change in their communities.
As in years past, CADCA welcomes special guests, including prominent Members of Congress, federal officials, corporate leaders and community coalition members. Developing youth leaders for civic engagement is one of our principal missions, and your support helps CADCA provide training and education by way of CYLI and other signature programs.
CADCA's theme this year is “Prevention. Progress. Possibilities.” Your commitment to the campaign empowers your family, your community and the nation.
Please support CADCA's DFKC. Your donation allows CADCA to train more youth to be community change agents and educate the public about the dangers of substance misuse.
