Marketing to “YOUR” Community

This session identifies that coalition marketing is not a one-size fits all approach. Here we will talk about ways in which you can develop a marketing plan that suits the needs of your community and represents your unique audience. We will also demonstrate how as with everything that you do in your coalition work, the Strategic Prevention Framework helps to guide the process of an effective marketing strategy. You will be guided in our journey of discovery of what worked best for our audience and target markets in addition to how we continuously utilize the SPF to remain fresh and adjust to the current trends and needs of the community through our marketing strategies.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1) Develop their own tailored/customized marketing plan to meet their specific needs 

2) Identify their target audiences for different forms of media and marketing that cater to their interests 

3) Evaluate results of efforts and establish ways in which to make improvements as needed
