Life of the Party

Chesapeake 7-9

Description

Are you the life of the party? You can be by attending this fun and engaging workshop. This workshop will provide the tools and skills to create a student-run organization on campus or in the community that supports prevention through education and alternative events. Many communities have neighboring college campuses, and fostering/maintaining a relationship with those campuses may be difficult. But it doesn't have to be. If you feel transitional youths are often overlooked in some pervention strategies, then this is the workshop for you! Stop by to have an honest conversation about how college campuses can be a resource and can be involved in the community.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, participants will be able to possess the tools to create a student-run organization, foster a conversation with college campuses about working together and maintaining a relationship, and form new ideas around what prevention looks like in communities.
