Kyrgyzstan
In 2014, CADCA entered into a partnership with Door-Eli, a local NGO based in Bishkek that works on promoting healthy lifestyle and strengthening civil society in Kyrgyzstan. The first community coalitions that were developed as part of this collaboration were Kelechek and Bakai-Ata, which participated in the Training of Communities initiative. Successful adaptation of the coalition strategy in these communities prompted a second phase of expansion via the Training of Leaders Initiative that included the communities of Mady, Gulcho, Tokmok, Kara-Balta, and Sokuluk between 2017 and 2019. Most recently, additional coalitions of Karakol, Tup, Teplokluchenka, and Chelpek have been established as part of the third phase of expansion via the Training of Leaders initiative, which began in 2019. The eleven community coalitions agreed to formalize their network and are currently in the process of forming an Association of Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of Kyrgyzstan:
- Bakai-Ata
- Kelechek
- Mady
- Gulcho
- Tokmok
- Kara-Balta
- Sokuluk
- Karakol
- Tup
- Teplokluchenka
- Chelpek
