Description

Resilience is the key to overcoming adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) which can contribute to substance misuse and poor mental health outcomes. In order for people to be able to learn new material, the person needs to feel safe and connected. This session will look at how the Warren Coalition involved the community in our We See You initiative that seeks to give every resident the message that they are seen and that they matter through 6 strategies that seek to increase the impact of the efforts throughout the community.

The 6 strategies will be shared along with an update on the changes being seen in our community 15 months into the initiative-including very moving stories that show how just 2 words-You Matter-change the direction of people's lives.

Be the connecting force in your community-learn how to build resilience through the power of human connection on the streets in your towns.
