She founded Laura Gordon Consulting in 2021, focusing on healthcare communications strategy, stakeholder engagement and content development. Her clients include advocacy organizations and other nonprofits; federal agencies; and companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech and pharmacy industries.<\/p>\n<p>Before founding her consultancy, Ms. Gordon was the first CEO of the Institute for Advanced Clinical Trials for Children, leading the non-profit organization in its mission to accelerate and enhance the quality of pediatric clinical trials. Under her direction, I-ACT for Children worked with other research stakeholders to assure that studies are designed to generate sufficient data to allow safe and effective use of new medications and devices in pediatric populations.founded Laura Gordon Con<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Gordon also spent 22 years at Edelman, working in the agency\u2019s New York and Washington, D.C., offices to drive strategy and programming for clients including pharmaceutical and biotech companies, provider organizations, global non-profits and federal agencies.
