Washington DC<\/strong> \u2013 Pr\u00e8s de 2 000 sp\u00e9cialistes de la pr\u00e9vention et du traitement de la toxicomanie de tout le pays se r\u00e9uniront \u00e0 Orlando, en Floride, du 20 au 24 juillet pour la Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA). Institut de formation de mi-ann\u00e9e 2014<\/a>. L'Institut de formation de mi-ann\u00e9e de CADCA est une opportunit\u00e9 de formation intensive unique en son genre, offrant plus de 70 cours d'une demi-journ\u00e9e et de deux jours destin\u00e9s \u00e0 aider les participants \u00e0 trouver des solutions aux probl\u00e8mes de toxicomanie les plus difficiles de leur communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n

"Le milieu de l'ann\u00e9e est une opportunit\u00e9 unique de d\u00e9veloppement professionnel pour quiconque tente de pr\u00e9venir et de r\u00e9duire l'abus de drogues et les probl\u00e8mes qui y sont li\u00e9s, dans leur communaut\u00e9", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Arthur T. Dean, pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de CADCA. \u00ab Apr\u00e8s quatre jours de formation intensive, les participants retourneront dans leurs communaut\u00e9s avec de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences et strat\u00e9gies, ainsi qu'une feuille de route plus claire pour cr\u00e9er des environnements dans lesquels les jeunes peuvent s'\u00e9panouir.<\/p>\n

L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement de mi-ann\u00e9e de la CADCA couvrira un large \u00e9ventail de sujets \u2013 allant de la fa\u00e7on de pr\u00e9venir l'abus de m\u00e9dicaments d'ordonnance et l'abus de drogues synth\u00e9tiques \u00e0 la fa\u00e7on de cr\u00e9er des environnements sans tabac, de r\u00e9duire la conduite avec facult\u00e9s affaiblies et d'\u00e9laborer des politiques visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la consommation de marijuana et la consommation d'alcool par les mineurs.<\/p>\n

Parmi les conf\u00e9renciers principaux figurent Michael Botticelli, directeur par int\u00e9rim de la politique nationale de contr\u00f4le des drogues, et Kana Enomoto, administrateur principal adjoint de l'Administration des services de toxicomanie et de sant\u00e9 mentale (SAMHSA).<\/p>\n

De plus, les participants entendront Matthew Dunagan du bureau du procureur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Floride, qui dirigera un cours sur la pr\u00e9vention de l'abus de m\u00e9dicaments d'ordonnance et partagera l'exp\u00e9rience de la Floride avec les participants. La mi-ann\u00e9e accueille \u00e9galement 300 jeunes de tout le pays qui participeront \u00e0 la formation de d\u00e9veloppement de la main-d'\u0153uvre de CADCA, le Initiative nationale de leadership des jeunes<\/a> (NYLI), o\u00f9 ils apprendront \u00e0 devenir des d\u00e9fenseurs de la pr\u00e9vention contre la toxicomanie et de puissants leaders communautaires.<\/p>\n

De plus, avant le milieu de l'ann\u00e9e, le Projet SAM organisera un sommet national d'action sur la marijuana, auquel participera le pr\u00e9sident de SAM, Patrick J. Kennedy. Le sommet aura lieu les samedi 19 et 20 juillet \u00e0 l'h\u00f4tel Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek et au complexe Waldorf Astoria Orlando. De plus, imm\u00e9diatement apr\u00e8s la mi-ann\u00e9e, le vendredi 25 juillet, CADCA organisera le Symposium sur l'\u00e9quit\u00e9 g\u00e9ographique en sant\u00e9\u00a0: L'endroit o\u00f9 vous vivez compte pour votre sant\u00e9<\/em>, qui explorera les disparit\u00e9s g\u00e9ographiques en mati\u00e8re de sant\u00e9 li\u00e9es au tabagisme et aux taux de cancer.<\/p>\n
